Administrative Core (AC)

Overview

The Administrative Core (AC) provides essential support and coordination to the other Cores and Projects of the ISAVRAD. Its objectives include ensuring ethical operations, harmonizing recruitment and assessment methods, and managing biomaterial acquisition and transfers. The AC oversees scientific direction, resource management, and integration of research and service activities.

Aim 1

Manage ISAVRAD’s internal operations, prioritize program goals, optimize resource sharing, and foster collaborations.

Aim 2

Manage external relationships, liaise with the External Advisory Committee, and promote outreach to communities.

Aim 3

Harmonize recruitment strategies, data collection, and material transfers across ISAVRAD.

Aim 4

Support faculty development through mentoring programs, workshops, and career development activities.

Data and Resource Sharing

The AC oversees sharing study resources with external investigators, promoting collaborations. Resource transfer agreements are managed through the Data Management & Statistics Core and deposited in NIH-maintained repositories, including NACC, NCRAD, and NIAGADS.
